Sherice Annis

Are you an individual who is struggling with daily life challenges? These daily life challenges can affect important aspects of your life including personal relationships, work, and your mental health. In turn, it may lead to anxiety, depression or substance use. I am here as part of your support system to assist you overcome challenges you currently face. I am committed to my clients’ success. I offer a person-centered approach.
Every individual is different. I have a variety of therapeutic philosophies and coping strategies I implement with clients.
Sherice is a registered Social Worker who received her Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto and her Bachelor of Social Work from York University. Sherice completed her practicum at Downtown Legal Services, which is a non-profit law firm for low- income earners. Sherice worked in the Families division of the firm. Sherice has a Child and Youth Worker Diploma from George Brown College. She has worked in a variety of settings including Sick Kids Hospital: Substance Use Day Treatment Program. This program focused on a harm reduction approach, while also implementing therapeutic approaches such as Person-Centered, Solution Focused, Narrative, Mindfulness, Person-Centered and CBT. Sherice has also worked at Toronto District School Board, where she has implemented techniques and strategies when working with children with Developmental Disabilities, Mild Intellectual Disabilities, Autism and Oppositional Defiant Disorder.
