Joanne Del Core

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
M.A., R.P. (Q)

It can be daunting when considering therapy for the first time, the second time or even the third time without a referral or guidance about who to work with or what kind of therapy to enroll in for a particular challenge a client is facing.

I work from a person-centered approach that puts an emphasis on the fit of the therapeutic relationship. I believe that the success of the client’s therapeutic experience lies in the relationship between therapist and client. I aim to enhance the client experience by bringing security, trust and comfort to therapy, so that core level healing can be facilitated, and a client can learn how to be informed by their emotions rather than be used by them.

Joanne is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a University of Toronto graduate with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Joanne also obtained certification in Co-Active Coaching and Leadership Development and worked as an Emotional Intelligence Strategist for over 10 years, working with children, parents and adults, educational organizations, daycares and training teachers to help them build emotionally healthy environments for children. In addition, she has worked at multiple clinics including TNPC, working and supporting adults, and children with anxiety, depression and trauma
