Hanit Isakovan

Registered Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor
M.A., RP

I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a qualified Clinical Supervisor with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I provide effective clinical supervision, coaching, guidance, mentorship, and consultation to students and credentialed Psychotherapists who require supervision to complete their training in the areas of children, youth, individual, family, couple and group therapy.

My supervision style is founded on Carl Roger’s person-centered principal as I believe in developing a progressive working relationship with the Supervisee by creating an atmosphere that promotes empowerment, trust, integrity, self-motivation, self-confidence, learning and professional growth.  My supervision style is also integrated in the Trauma-Informed, Reflective and Evidence Based Practices (EBPs) clinical supervision models, as I am committed to leveraging the power of relationships and upholding and maintaining professional standards to support both Therapists and Clients.

Hanit has 10 years of varied work experience with children, youth, individuals, couples and families in the context of schools, post-secondary settings, family settings, group therapy programs, private practice, community and various mental health and child welfare agencies. Hanit also held various clinical supervision roles where she effectively utilized multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement customized, innovative and evidence-based mental health programs, which delivered impactful outcomes.
